Rewrite these sentences in past tense verbs


  1. John saw that I was very angry with him.
  2. She asked if you knew who she was.
  3. Just as I went out the rain began to fall.
  4. He imagined that he knew everything.
  5. The fog became denser as we reached the top.
  6. They all thought that I was very wealthy.
  7. She knew very well what she was doing.
  8. As we walked along, she took me by the arm.


Adjectives: Adjectives are describing words. They are usually placed before nouns to make our writing interesting. Place correct adjectives before these nouns.

  1. An Able person.
  2. A Stormy sea.
  3. An Anxious mother.
  4. A Joyful event.
  5. A Mountainous country.
  6. A Querulous girl.  
  7. A Friendly act.
  8. A Famous pianist.
  9. A Fortunate escape.
  10. A Sensible person.
