Have you ever wondered how food is digested? I will provide you with adequate information on how food is digested.
The digestion of food begins in your mouth. You chew your food with your teeth and it becomes soggy with your saliva and your tongue pushes the food down the trapdoor or the esophagus.
The food is then broken down by acidic juices in your stomach. The broken down food enters the small intestine. The goodness is left behind and is carried into your bloodstream and travels all through your body to help you grow and repair your body and give you energy. The balance of the food moves into the large intestine and the water is taken out.
The undigested food then passes into the rectum and excreted out your body through the anus as waste and then the toilet takes care of the rest.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading about your research into the Digestive System. It was a great refresher for me, I haven't studied the D.S. since my biology class in high school.
I noticed a couple of grammatical errors, remember to use commas where appropriate, and reread your writing to check for spelling, punctuation, and word overuse. Sometimes it's one of technology's flaws, causing these errors (I know).
